“I just had to send a quick but heartfelt ‘thank you’ for all the wonderful work you have put in restoring my funny old journals. I handed you a mess and was returned a thing of beauty. With marble end papers! The proverbial sow’s ear. You guys rock.”
Our bindery staff will use the binding method most appropriate for each particular item, employing techniques such as signature sewing, flat black sewing, European double fan gluing (with non-toxic adhesives), over-sewing and Japanese stab binding.
European fan glued or signature pages will lay flat. Glossy or heavy paper stocks can be drilled and sewn.
Books can be ¼, ½ or full-bound in cloth, paper or leather. They can have marbled paper endsheets and headbands top and bottom. Other features include raised bands on the spine, rounded corners on books in leather and some cloth, and drop in artwork on the front cover.
The covers can be plain, foil stamped and personalized with names or stamped with company logos. Complete sets of books can be rebound in cloth or leather and gold-tooled on the covers and spines.
